Jean Abinader has been involved in Middle East affairs throughout his professional career, starting as Peace Corps Training Director in Yemen in the mid-70s to his current advisory roles in several US NGOs promoting ties between the US and Arab countries in political, educational, commercial, and workforce development programs. He is founder and director of AbiNader Advisory Services, which works with corporate, government, and NGO clients around the world and across a wide range of sectors. His experience spans numerous professional training programs for Arab nationals and expats going to the Arab world as well as special events designed to highlight Arab/Muslim culture. Mr. AbiNader writes frequently on topics related to the Middle East and US policy; was chair of the international conference on “Higher Education in the Arab World: Preparing for the Global Marketplace,” works with US and international media on Middle East issues; works with clients on issues related to defining and promoting value-based organizational culture, and leads a graduate seminar on effective negotiations at Al Akhawayn University in Morocco.
