Mark Holbrook currently serves as the Director of the American Language Center (ALC) in Tangier. He moved to Morocco in 2001 to join the American Cultural Association’s learning centers in Tangier and Tetouan. He worked in both administrative and teaching capacities until 2007, when he was appointed full-time director of the Tangier ALC. Holbrook first visited Morocco as a high school exchange student. Subsequently, he received a BA from Marlboro College, an MA in French language and civilization from Middlebury College, and an MSEd in TESOL from Mercy College. He currently resides in Tangier’s Ben Idder quarter in the old medina. The ALC is one of TALIM’s strongest local partners.
